JJC Retiree Celebration was created as an invitation design for a retirement event at Joliet Junior College. I developed a layout that feels elegant and celebratory while clearly presenting important event details. The design uses a refined script typeface paired with a structured layout and a background image of the college’s building to create a strong sense of place and connection. A purple color palette was chosen to match the college’s branding, reinforcing a cohesive visual identity while maintaining a polished look. This solution is effective because it balances elegance with clarity, honoring the retirees while providing guests with accessible and well-organized information.
